A portal frame can clear-span a warehouse without a forest of internal columns. For racking layouts, crane runs and vehicle movement, that open floor plate translates directly into operational value for the life of the building.
Predictable quality from a controlled environment
Cutting, drilling and welding happen in a workshop where conditions and measurements are controlled. Assembly on the ground becomes a bolt-up rather than a manufacturing exercise, which reduces rework, weather exposure and programme risk.
Built to be modified
Industrial buildings change. Bolted steel connections make it realistic to add a mezzanine, hang new services or extend a bay years later — something far harder once a structure is cast in place.
